ਲਹੀ ਏਕ ਨਾਰੀ ॥

lahee ek naaree ||

ਸੁ ਧਰਮਾਧਿਕਾਰੀ ॥

s dharamaadhikaaree ||

The sage, the authority on Dharma, saw a women,

ਕਿਧੌ ਪਾਰਬਤੀ ਛੈ ॥

kidhau paarabatee chhai ||

ਮਨੋ ਬਾਸਵੀ ਹੈ ॥੨੯੨॥

mano baasavee hai ||292||

Who looked like Parvati or Indrani.292.

SHRI BHAGVATI STANZA

ਕਿ ਰਾਜਾ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਛੈ ॥

ਕਿ ਬਿਦੁਲਤਾ ਛੈ ॥

k bidhulataa chhai ||

She was looking like the Lakshmi of the kings

ਕਿ ਹਈਮਾਦ੍ਰਜਾ ਹੈ ॥

k hieemaadhrajaa hai ||

ਕਿ ਪਰਮੰ ਪ੍ਰਭਾ ਹੈ ॥੨੯੩॥

k parama(n) prabhaa hai ||293||

She was glorious like the beautiful damsels of Madra Desha.293.

ਕਿ ਰਾਮੰ ਤ੍ਰੀਆ ਹੈ ॥

k raama(n) treeaa hai ||

ਕਿ ਰਾਜੰ ਪ੍ਰਭਾ ਹੈ ॥

k raaja(n) prabhaa hai ||

ਕਿ ਰਾਜੇਸ੍ਵਰੀ ਛੈ ॥

k raajesavairee chhai ||

ਕਿ ਰਾਮਾਨੁਜਾ ਛੈ ॥੨੯੪॥

k raamaanujaa chhai ||294||

She might be Sita, or the prowess of the kings, or the chief queen of some king or the moving figure behind Ram.294.

ਕਿ ਕਾਲਿੰਦ੍ਰ ਕਾ ਛੈ ॥

k kaali(n)dhr kaa chhai ||

ਕਿ ਕਾਮੰ ਪ੍ਰਭਾ ਛੈ ॥

k kaama(n) prabhaa chhai ||

She might be Yamuna, united with the glory of the god of love

ਕਿ ਦੇਵਾਨੁਜਾ ਹੈ ॥

k dhevaanujaa hai ||

ਕਿ ਦਈਤੇਸੁਰਾ ਹੈ ॥੨੯੫॥

k dhieetesuraa hai ||295||

She was like the goddess of the goddesses and the heavenly damsel of the demons.295.

ਕਿ ਸਾਵਿਤ੍ਰਕਾ ਛੈ ॥

k saavitrakaa chhai ||

ਕਿ ਗਾਇਤ੍ਰੀ ਆਛੈ ॥

k gaitree aachhai ||

ਕਿ ਦੇਵੇਸ੍ਵਰੀ ਹੈ ॥

k dhevesavairee hai ||

ਕਿ ਰਾਜੇਸ੍ਵਰੀ ਛੈ ॥੨੯੬॥

She was looking like Savitri, Gayatri, the supreme goddess amongst the goddesses and the chief queen amongst the queens.296.

ਕਿ ਤੰਤ੍ਰਾਲਕਾ ਛੈ ॥

k ta(n)traalakaa chhai ||

ਕਿ ਹਈਮਾਦ੍ਰਜਾ ਛੈ ॥

k hieemaadhrajaa chhai ||

ਕਿ ਹੰਸੇਸੁਰੀ ਹੈ ॥੨੯੭॥

k ha(n)sesuree hai ||297||

She was a princess skilful in mantras and tantras and seemed like Hansani (a female swan).297.

ਕਿ ਜਾਜੁਲਿਕਾ ਛੈ ॥

k jaajulikaa chhai ||

ਸੁਵਰਨ ਆਦਿਜਾ ਛੈ ॥

suvaran aadhijaa chhai ||

Looking like the heated gold in fife, she seemed like Shachi, the wife of Indra

ਕਿ ਸੁਧੰ ਸਚੀ ਹੈ ॥

k sudha(n) sachee hai ||

ਕਿ ਬ੍ਰਹਮਾ ਰਚੀ ਹੈ ॥੨੯੮॥

k brahamaa rachee hai ||298||

It seemed that Brahma had himself created her.298.

ਕਿ ਪਰਮੇਸੁਰਜਾ ਹੈ ॥

k paramesurajaa hai ||

ਕਿ ਪਰਮੰ ਪ੍ਰਭਾ ਹੈ ॥

k parama(n) prabhaa hai ||

She was like Lakshmi and supremely glorious

ਕਿ ਪਾਵਿਤ੍ਰਤਾ ਛੈ ॥

k paavitrataa chhai ||

ਕਿ ਸਾਵਿਤ੍ਰਕਾ ਛੈ ॥੨੯੯॥

k saavitrakaa chhai ||299||

She was pure like the sunrays.299.

ਕਿ ਚੰਚਾਲਕਾ ਛੈ ॥

k cha(n)chaalakaa chhai ||

ਕਿ ਕਾਮਹਿ ਕਲਾ ਛੈ ॥

k kaameh kalaa chhai ||

She was mercurial like the sexual arts

ਕਿ ਕ੍ਰਿਤਯੰ ਧੁਜਾ ਛੈ ॥

k kirataya(n) dhujaa chhai ||

ਕਿ ਰਾਜੇਸ੍ਵਰੀ ਹੈ ॥੩੦੦॥

k raajesavairee hai ||300||

She was looking splendid like Rajeshwari or was like a specially like Gauri-Parvati.301.

ਕਿ ਰਾਜਹਿ ਸਿਰੀ ਹੈ ॥

k raajeh siree hai ||

ਕਿ ਰਾਮੰਕਲੀ ਹੈ ॥

k raama(n)kalee hai ||

ਕਿ ਗਉਰੀ ਮਹਾ ਹੈ ॥

k gauree mahaa hai ||

ਕਿ ਟੋਡੀ ਪ੍ਰਭਾ ਹੈ ॥੩੦੧॥

k Toddee prabhaa hai ||301||

She was like the beloved queen of Ram and glorious like Gauri-Parvati.301.

ਕਿ ਬਾਸੰਤ ਬਾਲਾ ॥

She was superb amongst the arts of kingdom and looked like the youthful spring and seemed like the rosary of Raginis (the female musical modes).302.
