He seemed to Dutt as a king of supreme intellect, bedecked with all the accomplishments.228.

ਕਿ ਆਜਿਤ ਭੂਪੰ ॥

k aajit bhoopa(n) ||

ਕਿ ਰਤੇਸ ਰੂਪੰ ॥੨੨੯॥

k rates roopa(n) ||229||

That king was unconquerable, illustrious, elegant and respectful for all religions.229.

ਕਿ ਆਜਾਨ ਬਾਹ ॥

k aajaan baeh ||

ਕਿ ਸਰਬਤ੍ਰ ਸਾਹ ॥

ਕਿ ਧਰਮੰ ਸਰੂਪੰ ॥

ਕਿ ਸਰਬਤ੍ਰ ਭੂਪੰ ॥੨੩੦॥

That long-armed king was virtuous and cared for all his subjects.230.

ਕਿ ਸਾਹਾਨ ਸਾਹੰ ॥

ਕਿ ਆਜਾਨੁ ਬਾਹੰ ॥

k aajaan baaha(n) ||

ਕਿ ਜੋਗੇਾਂਦ੍ਰ ਗਾਮੀ ॥

k jogeaa(n)dhr gaamee ||

ਕਿ ਧਰਮੇਾਂਦ੍ਰ ਧਾਮੀ ॥੨੩੧॥

k dharameaa(n)dhr dhaamee ||231||

That long-armed king was a great Sovereign, a great Yogi and a monarch of Dharma.231.

ਕਿ ਰੁਦ੍ਰਾਰਿ ਰੂਪੰ ॥

k rudhraar roopa(n) ||

ਕਿ ਭੂਪਾਨ ਭੂਪੰ ॥

k bhoopaan bhoopa(n) ||

That king of kings resembled the figure of Rudra

ਕਿ ਆਦਗ ਜੋਗੰ ॥

k aadhag joga(n) ||

ਕਿ ਤਿਆਗੰਤ ਸੋਗੰ ॥੨੩੨॥

k tiaaga(n)t soga(n) ||232||

He was free from anxieties and remained absorbed in Yoga.232.

ਬਿਮੋਹਿਯੋਤ ਦੇਖੀ ॥

ਕਿ ਰਾਵਲ ਭੇਖੀ ॥

ਕਿ ਸੰਨ੍ਯਾਸ ਰਾਜਾ ॥

ਕਿ ਸਰਬਤ੍ਰ ਸਾਜਾ ॥੨੩੩॥

Seeing him, Dutt, the king of Yogis, who was in the garb of a Rawal, and who was theking of Sannyasis, and respectable for all, he was allured towards him.233.

ਕਿ ਸੰਭਾਲ ਦੇਖਾ ॥

k sa(n)bhaal dhekhaa ||

ਕਿ ਸੁਧ ਚੰਦ੍ਰ ਪੇਖਾ ॥

k sudh cha(n)dhr pekhaa ||

ਕਿ ਪਾਵਿਤ੍ਰ ਕਰਮੰ ॥

k paavitr karama(n) ||

ਕਿ ਸੰਨਿਆਸ ਧਰਮੰ ॥੨੩੪॥

k sa(n)niaas dharama(n) ||234||

He saw him like pure moon and found him that his actions were immaculate and in accordance with Yoga.234.

ਕਿ ਸੰਨਿਆਸ ਭੇਖੀ ॥

k sa(n)niaas bhekhee ||

ਕਿ ਆਧਰਮ ਦ੍ਵੈਖੀ ॥

k aadharam dhavaikhee ||

ਕਿ ਸਰਬਤ੍ਰ ਗਾਮੀ ॥

k sarabatr gaamee ||

ਕਿ ਧਰਮੇਸ ਧਾਮੀ ॥੨੩੫॥

k dharames dhaamee ||235||

That Sannyasi king was the destroyer of impiety, he went everywhere in his kingdom and was the abode of Dharma.235.

ਕਿ ਆਛਿਜ ਜੋਗੰ ॥

k aachhij joga(n) ||

ਕਿ ਆਗੰਮ ਲੋਗੰ ॥

k aaga(n)m loga(n) ||

ਕਿ ਲੰਗੋਟ ਬੰਧੰ ॥

k la(n)goT ba(n)dha(n) ||

ਕਿ ਸਰਬਤ੍ਰ ਮੰਧੰ ॥੨੩੬॥

k sarabatr ma(n)dha(n) ||236||

His Yoga was indestructible and wearing his loin-cloth, he moved everywhere in his kingdom.236.

ਕਿ ਆਛਿਜ ਕਰਮਾ ॥

k aachhij karamaa ||

ਕਿ ਆਲੋਕ ਧਰਮਾ ॥

k aalok dharamaa ||

His action and duties were illustrious and not liable to decay

ਕਿ ਆਦੇਸ ਕਰਤਾ ॥

k aadhes karataa ||

ਕਿ ਸੰਨ੍ਯਾਸ ਸਰਤਾ ॥੨੩੭॥

k sa(n)nayaas sarataa ||237||

He was the commander of all and was like a stream of Sannyas.237.

ਕਿ ਅਗਿਆਨ ਹੰਤਾ ॥

k agiaan ha(n)taa ||

ਕਿ ਪਾਰੰਗ ਗੰਤਾ ॥

k paara(n)g ga(n)taa ||

ਕਿ ਆਧਰਮ ਹੰਤਾ ॥

k aadharam ha(n)taa ||

ਕਿ ਸੰਨ੍ਯਾਸ ਭਕਤਾ ॥੨੩੮॥

k sa(n)nayaas bhakataa ||238||

He was the destroyer of ignorance, skilful in sciences, the destroyer of impiety and a devotee of Sannyasis.238.

ਕਿ ਖੰਕਾਲ ਦਾਸੰ ॥

k kha(n)kaal dhaasa(n) ||

ਕਿ ਸਰਬਤ੍ਰ ਭਾਸੰ ॥

k sarabatr bhaasa(n) ||

ਕਿ ਸੰਨ੍ਯਾਸ ਰਾਜੰ ॥

k sa(n)nayaas raaja(n) ||

ਕਿ ਸਰਬਤ੍ਰ ਸਾਜੰ ॥੨੩੯॥

k sarabatr saaja(n) ||239||

He was the servitor of the Lord, he was felt everywhere by his subjects, a king in Sannyas and he was embellished with all learnings.239.

ਕਿ ਪਾਰੰਗ ਗੰਤਾ ॥

k paara(n)g ga(n)taa ||

ਕਿ ਆਧਰਮ ਹੰਤਾ ॥

k aadharam ha(n)taa ||

ਕਿ ਸੰਨਿਆਸ ਭਕਤਾ ॥

k sa(n)niaas bhakataa ||

ਕਿ ਸਾਜੋਜ ਮੁਕਤਾ ॥੨੪੦॥

k saajoj mukataa ||240||

He was the destroyer of impiety, a devotee of the path of Sannyas, of Jivan-mukta (redeemed while living) and was skilful in all learnings.240.

ਕਿ ਆਸਕਤ ਕਰਮੰ ॥

k aasakat karama(n) ||

ਕਿ ਅਬਿਯਕਤ ਧਰਮੰ ॥

k abiyakat dharama(n) ||

He was absorbed in good deeds, an unattached Yogi

ਕਿ ਅਤੇਵ ਜੋਗੀ ॥

k atev jogee ||

ਕਿ ਅੰਗੰ ਅਰੋਗੀ ॥੨੪੧॥

k a(n)ga(n) arogee ||241||

He was like unmanifested Dharma devoid of Yoga his limbs were healthy.241.

ਕਿ ਸੁਧੰ ਸੁਰੋਸੰ ॥

k sudha(n) surosa(n) ||

ਨ ਨੈਕੁ ਅੰਗ ਰੋਸੰ ॥

n naik a(n)g rosa(n) ||

He was never in ire, even slightly

ਨ ਕੁਕਰਮ ਕਰਤਾ ॥

n kukaram karataa ||

ਕਿ ਧਰਮੰ ਸੁ ਸਰਤਾ ॥੨੪੨॥

k dharama(n) su sarataa ||242||

No vice touched him and he ever flowed like the river of Dharma.242.

ਕਿ ਜੋਗਾਧਿਕਾਰੀ ॥

k jogaadhikaaree ||

ਕਿ ਸੰਨ੍ਯਾਸ ਧਾਰੀ ॥

k sa(n)nayaas dhaaree ||

He adopted Sannyas and was the supreme authority of Yoga

ਕਿ ਬ੍ਰਹਮੰ ਸੁ ਭਗਤਾ ॥

k brahama(n) su bhagataa ||

ਕਿ ਆਰੰਭ ਜਗਤਾ ॥੨੪੩॥

k aara(n)bh jagataa ||243||

He was the devotee of Brahman, the originator of the world.243.

ਕਿ ਜਾਟਾਨ ਜੂਟੰ ॥

k jaaTaan jooTa(n) ||

ਕਿ ਨਿਧਿਆਨ ਛੂਟੰ ॥

k nidhiaan chhooTa(n) ||

That king wearing matted locks, had abandoned all the stores of materials

ਕਿ ਅਬਿਯਕਤ ਅੰਗੰ ॥

k abiyakat a(n)ga(n) ||

ਕਿ ਕੈ ਪਾਨ ਭੰਗੰ ॥੨੪੪॥

k kai paan bha(n)ga(n) ||244||

And he wore waist-cloth.24.

ਕਿ ਸੰਨ੍ਯਾਸ ਕਰਮੀ ॥

k sa(n)nayaas karamee ||

ਕਿ ਰਾਵਲ ਧਰਮੀ ॥

k raaval dharamee ||

He performed actions of Sannyas and adopted Rawal religion

ਕਿ ਤ੍ਰਿਕਾਲ ਕੁਸਲੀ ॥

k tirakaal kusalee ||

ਕਿ ਕਾਮਾਦਿ ਦੁਸਲੀ ॥੨੪੫॥

k kaamaadh dhusalee ||245||

He always remained in bliss and was the destroyer of lust etc.245.

ਕਿ ਡਾਮਾਰ ਬਾਜੈ ॥

k ddaamaar baajai ||

ਕਿ ਸਬ ਪਾਪ ਭਾਜੈ ॥

k sab paap bhaajai ||

The tabors were being played, hearing which all the sins had fled away
