ਨ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਿ ਮਾਤ ਸੰਗਾ ॥

n preet maat sa(n)gaa ||

ਅਧੀਨ ਅਰਧੰਗਾ ॥੪੦॥

adheen aradha(n)gaa ||40||

They will have no affection for their mother and the people will become subservient to their wives.40.

ਅਭੱਛ ਭੱਛ ਭਛੈ ॥

abha'chh bha'chh bhachhai ||

ਅਕੱਛ ਕਾਛ ਕੱਛੈ ॥

aka'chh kaachh ka'chhai ||

The uneatable will be eaten and people will visit the unworthy places

ਅਭਾਖ ਬੈਨ ਭਾਖੈ ॥

abhaakh bain bhaakhai ||

ਕਿਸੂ ਨ ਕਾਣਿ ਰਾਖੈ ॥੪੧॥

kisoo na kaan raakhai ||41||

The people will utter the unutterable words and will not care for anybody.41.

ਅਧਰਮ ਕਰਮ ਕਰ ਹੈ ॥

adharam karam kar hai ||

ਨ ਤਾਤ ਮਾਤ ਡਰਿ ਹੈ ॥

n taat maat ddar hai ||

ਕੁਮੰਤ੍ਰ ਮੰਤ੍ਰ ਕੈ ਹੈ ॥

kuma(n)tr ma(n)tr kai hai ||

ਸੁਮੰਤ੍ਰ ਕੋ ਨ ਲੈ ਹੈ ॥੪੨॥

suma(n)tr ko na lai hai ||42||

They will peroform unrighteous acts and will not have any advice and will not seek good advice.42.

ਅਧਰਮ ਕਰਮ ਕੈ ਹੈ ॥

adharam karam kai hai ||

ਸੁ ਭਰਮ ਧਰਮ ਖੁਐ ਹੈ ॥

s bharam dharam khuaai hai ||

They will perform acts of unrighteousness and will lose their dharma in illusions

ਸੁ ਕਾਲ ਫਾਸਿ ਫਸ ਹੈ ॥

s kaal faas fas hai ||

ਨਿਦਾਨ ਨਰਕ ਬਸਿ ਹੈ ॥੪੩॥

nidhaan narak bas hai ||43||

Thy will be entrapped in the noose of Yama and untimately reside in hell.43.

ਕੁਕਰਮ ਕਰਮ ਲਾਗੇ ॥

kukaram karam laage ||

ਸੁਧਰਮ ਛਾਡਿ ਭਾਗੇ ॥

sudharam chhaadd bhaage ||

ਕਮਾਤ ਨਿੱਤ ਪਾਪੰ ॥

kamaat ni't paapa(n) ||

ਬਿਸਾਰਿ ਸਰਬ ਜਾਪੰ ॥੪੪॥

bisaar sarab jaapa(n) ||44||

The people being engrossed in misconduct will abandon disciplines and engross themselves in sinful actions.44.

ਸੁ ਮੱਦ ਮੋਹ ਮੱਤੇ ॥

s ma'dh moh ma'te ||

ਸੁ ਕਰਮ ਕੇ ਕੁਪੱਤੇ ॥

s karam ke kupa'te ||

ਸੁ ਕਾਮ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਰਾਚੇ ॥

s kaam krodh raache ||

ਉਤਾਰਿ ਲਾਜ ਨਾਚੇ ॥੪੫॥

autaar laaj naache ||45||

The people intoxicated with wine and attachment will perform uncivilised acts and being absorbed in lust and anger, they will dance unashamedly.45.

ਨਗ ਸਰੂਪੀ ਛੰਦ ॥

nag saroopee chha(n)dh ||

NAG SAROOPI STANZA

ਨ ਧਰਮ ਕਰਮ ਕਉ ਕਰੈ ॥

n dharam karam kau karai ||

ਬ੍ਰਿਥਾ ਕਥਾ ਸੁਨੈ ਰਰੈ ॥

birathaa kathaa sunai rarai ||

ਕੁਕਰਮ ਕਰਮਿ ਸੋ ਫਸੈ ॥

kukaram karam so fasai ||

ਸਤਿ ਛਾਡਿ ਧਰਮ ਵਾ ਨਸੈ ॥੪੬॥

sat chhaadd dharam vaa nasai ||46||

No one will perform the rituals enjoyed by religion and the people will quarrel amongst themselves in evil actions to such an extent that they will totally forsake the religion and truth.46.

ਪੁਰਾਣ ਕਾਬਿ ਨ ਪੜੈ ॥

puraan kaab na paRai ||

ਕੁਰਾਨ ਲੈ ਨ ਤੇ ਰੜੈ ॥

kuraan lai na te raRai ||

They will not study Puranas and Epics and will also not read the holy Quran

ਅਧਰਮ ਕਰਮ ਕੋ ਕਰੈ ॥

adharam karam ko karai ||

ਸੁ ਧਰਮ ਜਾਸੁ ਤੇ ਡਰੈ ॥੪੭॥

s dharam jaas te ddarai ||47||

They will perform such acts of adharma, that even dharma will also feel frightened.47.

ਧਰਾਕਿ ਵਰਣਤਾ ਭਈ ॥

dharaak varanataa bhiee ||

ਸੁ ਭਰਮ ਧਰਮ ਕੀ ਗਈ ॥

s bharam dharam kee giee ||

The whole earth will assume only one caste (of sin) and the trust in religion will be finished

ਗ੍ਰਿਹੰ ਗ੍ਰਿਹੰ ਨਯੰ ਮਤੰ ॥

giraha(n) giraha(n) naya(n) mata(n) ||

ਚਲੇ ਭੂਅੰ ਜਥਾ ਤਥੰ ॥੪੮॥

chale bhooa(n) jathaa tatha(n) ||48||

There will be new sects in every home and the people will adopt only misconduct.48.

ਗ੍ਰਿਹੰ ਗ੍ਰਿਹੰ ਨਏ ਮਤੰ ॥

giraha(n) giraha(n) ne mata(n) ||

ਭਈ ਧਰੰ ਨਈ ਗਤੰ ॥

bhiee dhara(n) niee gata(n) ||

There will be now sects in every home, there will be new paths on the earth

ਅਧਰਮ ਰਾਜਤਾ ਲਈ ॥

adharam raajataa liee ||

ਨਿਕਾਰਿ ਧਰਮ ਦੇਸ ਦੀ ॥੪੯॥

nikaar dharam dhes dhee ||49||

There will be the reign of adharma and dharma will be exiled.49.

ਪ੍ਰਬੋਧ ਏਕ ਨ ਲਗੈ ॥

prabodh ek na lagai ||

ਸੁ ਧਰਮ ਅਧਰਮ ਤੇ ਭਗੈ ॥

s dharam adharam te bhagai ||

There will be no impact of knowledge on anyone and dharma will flee in the face of adharma

ਕੁਕਰਮ ਪ੍ਰਚੁਰਯੰ ਜਗੰ ॥

kukaram prachuraya(n) jaga(n) ||

ਸੁ ਕਰਮ ਪੰਖ ਕੈ ਭਗੰ ॥੫੦॥

s karam pa(n)kh kai bhaga(n) ||50||

The wicked acts will be greatly propagated and dharma will fly away with wings.50.

ਪ੍ਰਪੰਚ ਪੰਚ ਹੁਇ ਗਡਾ ॥

prapa(n)ch pa(n)ch hui gaddaa ||

ਅਪ੍ਰਪੰਚ ਪੰਖ ਕੇ ਉਡਾ ॥

aprapa(n)ch pa(n)kh ke uddaa ||

The deceit will be appointed as judge and the simplicity will fly away

ਕੁਕਰਮ ਬਿਚਰਤੰ ਜਗੰ ॥

kukaram bicharata(n) jaga(n) ||

ਸੁਕਰਮ ਸੁ ਭ੍ਰਮੰ ਭਗੰ ॥੫੧॥

sukaram su bhrama(n) bhaga(n) ||51||

The whole world will be absorbed in vicious acts and the good acts will speed away.51.
